A series of 5 paintings created during the pandemic, a meditation on solitude and isolation, and how that experience alters emotional states.

This gallery includes Hell Beyond the Window which was painted before the Isolated Emotions series, its style and themes set up the series. It was created during the summer of 2020 when smoke from wildfires in Oregon covered much of the sky, making air dangerous to breathe and tinting the sky a bright red.
